Wordless Wednesday - What Horse Property Buyers are Searching For
When asking a horse property buyer for their criteria, at times, especially those that come from the city, will state, "We are interested in a cozy, secluded 20 acre farm, with a barn and fencing, on level property for a riding arena, that has hills, trees, and streams surrounding it.  It is to be within a short distance of shopping, restaurants, schools and entertainment, as well as trails and horse shows.  If it backs up to state game lands, that would be a plus."  Hmmmm.  This is definitely challenging to find.

Horsey Funny Friday - Horse Property Buyers  
Being a real estate agent with expertise in horse properties, plus being a horse person myself, I can honestly say that this cartoon is not only funny, but true.
 
Horse people care a lot about their horses and their well-being.  These animals are their primary concern.  The housing for the owners themselves does not matter as much as long as there is running water, a roof over their heads and warmth. 
 
You might say that horse people are a different breed of people.
