This is a quick blog but I heard this saying and I love it - it really applies to our real estate businesses. Success isnt magical, it is mathematical. Now is a good time to break down your numbers for 2011 - how many contacts do you need, to convert to the number of leads you need, to convert to the number of customers you need, to convert to the number of sales you are forecasting. If you didnt have the number of closed sales this year, look at increasing the number of "dials" for 2011 to get the process started … (4 comments)

On my wall in front of my computer sits my goals for 2010 - I have no choice but to look at these everyday. I was listening to a training call today and loved the anology the gal used about obstacles in our lives and businesses. Everyone in life has obstacles of course. We all know it is how you deal with them that affects your life. I am not a student of the university but do listen to the interviews and they are great. Couple take aways about social networking and technology: The latest generation doesnt know technology the way we did. For example if we say to our kids, "we dialed a number" they dont know "dial" as their phones dont have a dial on them!!!
