cape fear: Can You Find a Better House in Inland Greens? - A Challenge - 04/15/09 09:39 PM
Check out the photo above. Can you believe this is not a model home? The owners of this very well priced, three bedroom two and half bath golf course patio home in Inland Greens did such an outstanding job of preparing it to sell that it almost defies comparison. So far the folks who've looked at this home, whether potential buyers, Realtors, or neighbors, have all been blown away by how clean and beautiful it is. Another interesting fact: much of the interest has been from folks who already live in Inland Greens who want to share the "secret" of their … (0 comments)

cape fear: Almost Serious - It's the Beach - 04/12/09 05:42 AM
There are many many great reasons to move to the greater Wilmington, NC region - also known as Cape Fear. In this 4 minute video Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty Broker enumerates several of the key factors people consider when moving to southeastern North Carolina. Among the top reasons often cited are area growth, jobs and economic development, year round temperate climate, great golf, boating and fishing, surfing, Wilmington's Historic District, the region's burgeoning film and tv industry, and 1100+ great restaurants. cape fear: Oops, this one's under contract already! Who said there's no market? - 03/05/09 09:46 PM
This great listing in Magnolia Greens Golf Plantation in Leland, NC is under contract. This is a clear indication that there are buyers out there and they will buy if the price is right! I've noticed in the last few months that paying attention to the news media about the market is pretty self-defeating. There ARE buyers, they CAN get mortgages, and they WILL close on contracts. So y'all can fret if you want, I'm busy marketing my listings. Oh yeah, and I'd love comments on the video. I'm experimenting with video in blogs and other places, so let me know … (0 comments)

There's certainly a lot to like about this nifty home in the Magnolia Greens golf community in Leland, North Carolina. Nice size, great floor plan, perfect for entertaining inside and out. One of the best screened porches I've seen, fenced area in back yard with private woodsy area, too. Rocking chair front porch. Great condition on a quiet street. Oh, and P.S. you don't HAVE to play golf if you live in Magnolia Greens! … (0 comments)

cape fear: Is Social Media Appropriate for Open House Announcements? - 02/21/09 10:55 PM
Here's a question to which I would love some feedback. I am a big fan of blogs for real estate listings (even more so than websites) but I've also started really promoting my open houses via social media such as Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, Plaxo, etc. AND I've also started listing open houses as Events on local networks such as Leland Living and 3rd Street Plaza (Wilmington's fledgling and fast-growing social networking hub), on Craig's list, and on ActiveRain. So what do YOU think of that?
