The first quarter of 2013 begins with a bang, at least for the Washington DC area. The 12th of January became momentous as residents near the Seattle Center flocked and gathered together to be part of a record-breaking event which is now considered by the Guinness Book of World Record’s as the world’s largest snowball fight. The event ousted South Korea for the record which held the spot for 2 years when it had some 5400 Koreans throwing snowballs at each other in 2010.
