The resurgence of all cash buyers, investors, and people upgrading or downsizing has created an inventory shortage in most areas. CO Springs and Denver are once again ranked in the top 20 of the hottest real estate markets in the nation. CO Springs is ranked as the 6th hottest market, and Denver is ranked as the 17th hottest market. According to RealtorMag, Denver and CO Springs are in the top 15 markets in the nation with the strongest kickoff to the new year. Denver ranks in at #8, and CO Springs ranks at #13. Part of the reason for this is increassing rates, and buyers are scrambling to lock in lower interest rates instead of gambling that rates will get lower as the Spring/Summer rush approaches.
