usda rd: New USDA property maps delayed

New USDA property maps delayed USDA announced today that the new USDA Property Eligibility Maps based on 2010 Census data will not go into effect until Oct 1, 2014. This could change if congressional action ensues in the interrim. Most areas are still utilizing maps based on 2000 Census data until Oct 1, 2014, which includes many areas that would not be considered very Rural from the street.
