New USDA property maps delayed
USDA announced today that the new USDA Property Eligibility Maps based on 2010 Census data will not go into effect until Oct 1, 2014.   This could change if congressional action ensues in the interrim.   Most areas are still utilizing maps based on 2000 Census data until Oct 1, 2014, which includes many areas that would not be considered very Rural from the street.

The Veterans Administration does not actually have a Loan Limit or maximum loan amount for VA Loans. However there are VA County Loan Limits which used to be the maximum Loan Amounts available for 100% VA financing in that respective county.   As of Jan 1, 2020 the VA has no Loan Limit cap on 100% financing for qualified Veterans with full VA Entitlement available.
