Major League Baseball! Tonight the Dodgers play the Padre's. It is about time. Tomorrow most of the other teams will join in. All 5 Fantasy teams are picked and ready to play. The radio and computer are tuned into the stations I need and my elixir is cold and ready. Now all I need is some live action!

Spring Training for me is always a long process. It seems to take forever to get the guys in shape. You would think that a person getting paid millions would come to camp in shape. If they worked for me they would!!! But anyway...At 3 am central time the dodgers and the diamond Backs are playing the first of 2 games Down under in Aussie land. This is just a teaser because we then have to wait for a week for one more game and then the season will be in full swing. So, I will keep tweaking my Fantasy teams … (6 comments)

Right now it is anyones series to lose. neither team is playing up to their professional level. Mistakes abound and even a few bizarre calls. I am hoping to see a more professional finish to the game I love. Sadly, to much money is in the hands of all concerned and pride just doesn't show it's real face very often. … (6 comments)

Like anything where the fans vote, it is not always the best of the best that get recognized. The All-Star game for one is a fan voted event. The announcers for a couple of weeks and even longer talk about the good players that get left out and some not as good ones get voted to play. There are a handful of people who really know the sport and will vote for the best no matter what team they are on. But, overall , the game belongs to the fans...they should be able to see who they like!

Spring training has been long. I have tweaked my fantasy teams and am just sitting around waiting. For anyone who has not joined a team but are thinking of it, Yahoo has many Leagues (Free) that are looking for a few more teams. Jump in and have some fun! Call me if you want a heads up on a league that is looking to start. A lot of leagues are Auto-Pick. (Computers pick all players for all teams.) Quick and easy way to get started.

I am going crazy. Baseball opening day is still 2 weeks away. I have tweaked my Fantasy team. I have bought tickets for several games. I am watching and listening to the pre-season games but I am still left a bit empty. It is going to be a very, very long 2 weeks. … (4 comments)

Spring Training is in full swing. For the Minnesota Twins, it is mostly about pitching. 2 of the newest pitchers are an ominous sight on the mound. One stands 6'6" and the other 6'9". Now, I played some ball and I will tell you that seeing a large person out on that mound can make you look just a bit closer. Twins have also Brought back Tom Brunanski. (Bruno) as most call him. I am excited about the upcoming season. Spring training is just around the corner. Pitchers and Catchers have reported and some of the others are starting to migrate to the training camps. Anyone Else EXCITED??? I see my Hometown Twins have acquired a few pitchers and that should help them out A LOT!!! I am waiting to hear the first...PLAY BALL!!!! yell from the umps. This is a sure sign spring is on it's way.
