helping others: Food shelves are in dire need. - 12/01/13 08:54 AM
One of the highest needs for the food shelves is right after a major Holiday.  And the short time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is even a harder time.
It is a short time to re-stock the shelves and between bad weather and the extra expenses for our own Holidays, we sometimes don't give like we usually do.

helping others: Pay back may come from others. - 10/08/13 11:13 AM
Talking with a group of people and the talk turned to helping others.

Where should you call?
Salvation Army.
Good Will.
Churches.
City Hall.
Food Shelves.
Most any organization in your community that helps the unfortunate can help you with the name of a family and what their needs may be.
Can't do an entire … (13 comments)
