I ran across this photo from one years back. These guys built a screen House on barrels and made it float. It is on a small lake and pushed around with a trolling motor. I sometimes with I lived on a small lake as I would think about doing this. It is one of the greatest ideas I have ever seen

I for one love the water. If there was a great lake in my work area, I would living on it. Not to say the lakes in my area are not good, it is just what "I" like in a lake. If you have thought about buying a lake home think about this..
The sunset and sunrise. Size of lake Restrictions on the lake...fishing or otherwise What you are going to use the lake for...Fishing, boating, jet ski, Skiing
There are a lot of things to consider. Let me help in those decisions.

If you are thinking Lake Home now is a great time. Many buyers want to buy in the spring so they can enjoy the home right away. But the truth of the matter is they usually work all summer to make it the way they want. Then They wait until the next year to really enjoy it.
Buy the home or cabin now. Then spend your free winter time doing the little things inside that you want to get done. Then in the spring you can enjoy it all summer. There also a lot less competition at this time of the year.

If you have been thinking of selling you lake home or cabin, NOW is the time. Most people looking to buy a lake home want to be able to enjoy their investment right away and not wait until spring. So waiting until September will impact the number of people looking and many are bargain shoppes. I have many lake home and cabin buyers still looking. Let me know what you have and lets get talking

There is an idea that fall and winter is a bad time to buy a lake home in the North land. WRONG! Buyers, there are some great deals and some sellers who still are looking to sell are still looking for offers. Most understand that multiples are most likely not in the cards. So, if you are thinking of a Lake Home...stop thinking. Act!!!!

For me, Spring in Minnesota starts when I hear my first loons. Today...I heard my first loon. It is a beautiful sound in my book. The common loon is Minnesota's state bird. They are sometimes a mystical bird and their call is haunting at times. But, still, it is a beautiful sound and I know spring is here.

My wife and I are ready for the loons. Their mournful cries as a sign of peace. They are a cool bird and you have to be very slow and quiet to approach them. This one is sitting on the nest...but she was watching me closely. 2nd year on this nest, I am looking forward to seeing her there this coming May.
