It has been a great Christmas, up until today. My Step son and his wife informed us that they Baby that is due in May, has some possible major Heart Issues. It is amazing what the Dr.s can do, but without God's help...it is all in vain.

I just found out that my Brother-in-law has been having some chest pains. Today's Dr. appointment he found out it is a quad by-pass. Tomorrow morning this 46 year old healthy person will be going through this procedure. Last week it was and still is the ladies in our family with some great emotional strains. I pray tonight the skill of the surgeons complete this very routine surgery with great success. I also pray the family doesn't see round 3 for a while. Thank You and God Bless! … (10 comments)

Glenn is a vibrant 83 year old that has been feeling under the weather the last 2 months. He found out one of the valve in his heart was failing. Surgery was schedualed for the first week in January. I just found out that he was rushed to the hospital this evening. Glenn will have his valve replaced tomorrow and then a pace maker on thurs. An extra prayer for this family if you can. I am asking for prayers for my Mother-in-Law. She took a fall yesterday and this morning was in severe pain. She has bee taken to the hospital where we believe she may have broken a rib or 2. She is 85 and has very severe heart problems also. She is also not real tolerant of some medication. I thank you for any prayers sent her way.

I found out today, that a relative of my wife was in a private plan crash with his son. Both are alive, but the prognosis is uncertain for dad and the son's condition is stable, but severe injuries makes his style of life uncertain. Prayers for the family as they deal with the uncertain out comes of these two men would be appreciated. God Bless! … (10 comments)

After about an hour or so on the road, I recieved a phone call. "Go back Home." WHY!!! The Surgery was reschedualed for Early Monday morning. This is where things stand. Corrina has 'Aortopulmanary Window'. This is a heart defect that affects about 1 in 1.6 million infants. It has something to do with a heat valve not working properly. When she was born, there was a mummer detected. The Dr. said not to worry as over 1/2 go away and most others are not serious. Her 2 week checkup showed no signs. I just received a phone call. They have detected a heart mummer in my new granddaughter. It is severe enough that it requires surgery RIGHT NOW. My wife was watching the news...I was busy with today's loose ends, She relayed a story about a 3 year old girl with a type of childhood cancer. She had nearly beat the cancer, when it took a hold of her again. The Dr's. say she has 3-4 weeks to live. Mary and her parents live in Apple Valley, Minnesota. In this fast pace world of ours, we are up bvefore the sun and off on ourway. We may not see our loved ones until late in the day, if at all. We go along 'business' as usual. Did you take time to call al loved one to say "I Love You". This happened to day right by my house. I don't know any details, except, a passer by took the person to the hospital with injuries.
