The real estate market in Mansfield cooled down along with the weather in November. The approach of the holidays has some people putting off their home search and also has sellers waiting to list their homes until after the new year. Traveling to visit family or hosting the holidays puts a cramp in everyone's schedules. This seemed to be the case in Mansfield during November 2014, where sales declined from 11 homes sold in November 2013 to 7 homes sold in November 2014. Many of our buyers looking in the Canton and Sharon areas end up making a decision to look in Mansfield MA instead. Located right next to Sharon, it has proven to be a great alternative to many of our buyers so I thought it was time to add in a real estate market report for Mansfield MA.
