We all know working with foreclosures can be tough, but this one takes the cake. My broker listed a foreclosure in the Spring 09. After a CMA she suggested a price in the low 100's. The bank kindly listed the home for over 160K!. Guess how many buyers were interested???
Spring turned to summer, then fall came without any offers. In December of 09 the company lowered the price to 99k. One of my buyers wrote an offer of 99k with 3k in closing.
Before negotiations were completed, the listing was yanked and we were told to resubmit.
