I attended a Realtor event yesterday at the Reserve at Rock Creek, a Windsor Homes Community. I toured the clubhouse (with the great looking pool) and two model homes. The first home was a one-level with 1385 sq. ft. at 149900. This was a veneer vinyl exterior, carpet and vinyl interior house with a vaulted great room ceiling. The kitchen was roomy, and the color choices were great. This was also a split bedroom plan. A large two car garage was just off the great room. The other day I stopped by at the newer model at Candice Ridge in Greensboro NC, right off I-40 on Youngs Mill Rd. When I was a kid I rode the school bus right by this area! The newer homes look impressive from the street, with pretty upscale elevations, complete with some craftsman elements. The thing that caught my eye first was the textured paint. To date I'd seen only one other builder use this in our area. Of course the staging was fantastic, reminding me of DR Horton's upscale Winston-Salem community models.
