No two ways around it, it is a Buyer's market right now. If you are selling your home today it requires much more work on your side then it did just a few years ago. One of the easiest ways for you to help your Realtor, and yourself, with selling your home is to allow a lockbox to be put on your home. The lockbox holds a spare house key and it allows other Realtors easy access to your home. Easy access = more showings. Now admittedly this will cause you the homeowner to have to keep the home in "showing (0 comments)

I am thinking of using a seminar as a basis for finding and working with new listings and people who are considering re-listing their homes. I have investigated the cost of a conference room and advertising ( I figured I should start 3 weeks before the event). I have not looked into a caterer, the event would only be about 1- 1/1/2 hours long. I was hoping that someone out there has done this before and could steer me a little. Should I hold this event around lunch time on say a Saturday, and there by hope to pull (6 comments)

I am trying to help an agent in my office move a luxury property that he is involved in, but I am unsure how to go about that on AR while maintaining the proper blogging etiquette. Could a few of you more experienced AR bloggers help me out here? Any and all help appreciated.

listings: Collecting Listing - Try and remember they are NOT trading cards

Someone help me here because I just don't get it! I understand that we all want and need to make a living, which makes this even harder to grasp. I am talking about agents that "collect" listing. I know there is a value in having you name out there on the streets, but what does it say about you when 1 year later your sign is still hanging in the same yard? I don't know about anywhere else, but here in Maricopa county Arizona we have a 2+ year supply of homes. With this in mind why are agents still willing (10 comments)
