zillow: It's time for Realtor.com to stop displaying property searches - 03/11/14 11:23 AM
In one of NAR’s more recent releases of unique web visitors another website has lost more ground and has now fallen out of the top 3 individual sites for monthly unique visitors.  That website is Realtor.com.  In NAR’s most recent Realtor.com web traffic report we see that Zillow has surged way ahead as the #1 Real Estate website with over 20,000,000 unique visitors in December of 2013, Trulia was second with almost 11,700,000 while Yahoo! Zillow is a very interesting and comprehensive site, in fact I noticed that just last week despite years and years of suggestions that REALTOR(R) organizations take the lead on ratings and reviews Zillow will now take the lead on ratings and reviews. The continued crux of association leadership is the concern that, “what will this do to the agents that get bad reviews?!?” (To answer, push them out of the business hopefully!) zillow: Zillow conspiracy? Or am I just nuts? - 01/05/09 08:31 AM
I saw another blog on this and it got me to wondering... forgive me for this broken and somewhat long post, but I'm starting to wonder if our good buddies at Zillow are trying to do what they can to stir up more of a media frenzy.
I'm in Montana, which does not disclose sales data as public information so Zillow, Trulia, Cyberhomes, etc are sometimes horribly off-target.  I keep an eye on the sites to see what they're projecting for values, and I found it real interesting that within the same week Zillow was featured on an AP newswire story about Americans … (43 comments)
