Spring finally seems to have hit Braemar. I looked in my garden the other day and saw purple flowers that seemed to have bloomed overnight. Hopefully it won't get too hot too quickly, but at least you don't have to shovel heat.
This is the Braemar Property Value Report for homes in the Arista Series by Brookfield Homes. These were the largest homes built by Brookfield and there were three floor plans from which to choose: Allister, Buckingham and Canterbury.

The first quarter of the Braemar condo market was really quiet, but not for lack of buyer demand. Buyers are out in full force and looking for affordable housing, just like Braemar condos. Right now, there is only one Braemar condo on the market. It was listed for $249,900 and after 18 days on the market went under contract. I'm sure we'll be talking about that one at the beginning of July for the second quarter report, but let's look at what happened in the first quarter.

Braemar was developed by Brookfield Homes. As such, the majority of homes in the community are built by Brookfield. However, Brookfield did sell some of their lots to builders like NV Homes and Ryan Homes. And by popular demand of the neighborhood, I had once again added the NV Home edition of the Braemar Property Value Report.
Unfortunately, there were no sales during the months of January or February of NV Homes in Braemar. Same was true last report (November & December.)

One of my favorite style of homes in Braemar are the Carriage homes. Quaint is the word that comes to mind, particularly after a nice fresh snow. And we've certainly had our fill of snow in Bristow this winter. I know we are all ready for spring. While it is only a matter of days before we are officially in the spring season, we continue to be pounded by snow in Braemar. And on trash and recycle days! As if we didn't have a hard enough time cramming all of our recycle from one week into the bin, the pick up gets rescheduled or skipped when it snows on recycle day. It's a bummer.
