political thriller: Seven Days in May (revisited) - 10/27/19 08:47 PM
I was going through my DVD collection the other day and ran across "Seven Days in May", a political thriller from 1964 starring Kirk Douglas, Burt Lancaster, Fredric March and Ava Gardner.  It is based upon the book by Fletcher Knebel and Charles Bailey II.  The screenplay was written by Rod Serling and the movie was directed by John Frankenheimer.
It is all about a plot to bring down the government of the United States by a Coup d'etat from within.  Pretty graphic descriptions such as "The government of the United States is perched on the top of the Washington Monument - … (0 comments)
