Shannon Forest is located in Spring TX in Northwest Harris County and is located between I-45 and 249 on Stuebner Airline and just between Louetta and Spring Cypress Roads. Shannon Forest has around 150 homes. Homes were mostly built in the mid 1980's to the mid 1990's, and a few in 2000's. There are large towering pines and hardwoods throughout the subdivision. Sam Houston Race Park is Houston's premier racing facility. The Race Park is located in Northwest Houston right off beltway 8, between 290 & I 45, at Fairbanks North Houston Road. There is always something happening at the park to entertain you. There is live or simulcast horse racing 365 days a year and many other fun activities as well such as July 4th fireworks & Elvis night. There is always something happening at the Barbara Bush @ Cypress Creek Library! They have story time for small children ages 3-6 years. People of all ages can benefit from the vast amount of books, videos, magazines they have. This library is offering an Adult Microsoft class where you an learn Excel, Word, Publisher and computer basics. This is a wonderful thing they are offering. Klein ISD will honor all veterans and active duty personnel at a breakfast and parade at Klein High School on November 12, 2007. Breakfast will be served from 8:00 -8:45A.M. in the school cafeteria. Following the breakfast the entire community will be invited to attend an official review at 9:00 A.M. The Cadets from Klein ISD Air Force Junior ROTC units will honor all veterans and active duty personnel.

Shannon forest is a small custom subdivision located in Spring, TX off of Stuebner Airline and inbetween Louetta Rd. and Spring Cypress. There are about 150 homes in Shannon Forest with nice sized lots ranging from just under 1/4 acre to over 1/2 an acre. Shannon Forest offers a very nice club house, tennis courts, pool and playground. You'll see people walking their dogs all times of the day and evening.
