Listing price range of the homes was from $105,000 to $570,000. The seller’s received an average of 97% of the sales price. At this time there are 19 pending home sales waiting to go to closing. Pending listing price range of the homes is from $98,900 to $199,900. Great news for both buyers and sellers. The pending sales will help start 2012 Real Estate Market for Silverlake strong.

In the Pearland/Houston area, the market is making big strides. Home sales are up 17% percent from last year and for the last four months, the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR) cites record home sales. As of today, there are 175 pending homes waiting to go to closing in Pearland, Texas. An interesting article ran in the Houston Chronicle today regarding mortgage rates. It noted that the average rate on a 30-year fixed rate mortgage "dipped to 4.93 percent this week from 5 percent a week earlier" becoming "the lowest level since mid-December when rates averaged 4.81 percent." On a 15-year fixed rate mortgage, the average rate was 4.3 percent, down from 4.36 percent last week!
