Update: Considering a short sale? Well it appears they are still on the rise here in Lee County. Yes folks, we have many foreclosures here in Lee County. Am I surprised by this? NO. A recent article in the news-press.com sites 1,232 foreclosures filed in August of 2007. In July there were only 1,045. Building permits are also way down. Only 63 permits for single family homes were issued in August of 2007. This is the lowest number since November of 1981! Wow! So is the sky falling? NO. The market is readjusting. Well now that school is officially out here locally many people are considering buying a new home in time for the school year. This includes those relocating from other areas, those moving within the Lee County area & those currently renting & ready to buy. This Lehigh Acres home was just reduced to an amazingly low price. While many new homes for sale in Lehigh Acres are the standard cookie-cutter home this one is different. Everything similar in square footage for the same & less money are all from 2 other builders. This one is unique. It comes with solid surface countertops, upgraded appliances including washer & dryer! Also has tile throughout house - except bedrooms.
