Today's notice from Inman News had the headline: "New Home Sales Skyrocket in October" which is music to all real estate agents' ears. If you read a little further, however, you learn the existing home sales were down for the third consecutive month. You also learn from Trulia Chief Economist Jed Kolko that homes sales for the past three months are up just 5% over the same time period last year.
