If you are considering building a new home in southwest Florida, specifically Charlotte county, now may be the time to do it. With current resale inventory being at record lows many people are opting to build a new home. One community, South Gulf Cove has new homes being built everywhere you look. After the real estate market crashed in Florida, Charlotte county reduced the impact fees to encourage building. It worked well and there have been hundreds of new home starts through out the county. Having done many short sales in the Venice, Englewood, North Port, Port Charlotte Florida and I just wanted to take a moment & share my experiences with everyone about Equator & Bank of America. It seems that the log jam has began to break! Both Sarasota and Charlotte county, North Port, Venice, Englewood and Port Charlotte to be more specific increased by 24% on sales in May over April and is up 11% over sales last May. Many people who were waiting for the bottom to hit clearly see that may have happened. June has been extremely busy and it is snowballing into July.
