People do NOT buy homes in the winter. Is this thought keeping you from putting your home on the market yet? Many people need to sell their homes before they can buy new construction here at Celebrity Homes. How many of them have told me they are waiting until spring to put their home on the market? I hear ads on the TV and Radio about how anyone who qualifies for the $8000 tax credit still has almost 60 days to look for a new home. Well, that is actually a little deceiving. It takes approximately 30-45 to close on a loan so really, first time homebuyers only have a few weeks at the very most to sign a purchase contract to take advantage of the $8000 tax credit.
