Busy, Busy Day in Omaha for New Celebrity Homes! Wow, so much activity happening now. It is just past 10 pm and I am just getting home from the office now. I had a couple close on their new Celebrity Home today, another purchase his new Celebrity Home today, yet another purchasing his new Celebrity Home tomorrow, and lots and lots of phone calls, emails, and visits in between! I think this is a sign of what is to come in the next few months as we warm up here in Omaha and close in on the $8000/$6500 Housing Tax Credit Stimulus deadline. Here … (0 comments)

Renters: Do you qualify for the Homebuyer's Tax Credit? There are a few limitations and restrictions to receive the current Tax Credit for purchasing a home. It can be very confusing and there have been a lot of questions. Who is eligible? I hear ads on the TV and Radio about how anyone who qualifies for the $8000 tax credit still has almost 60 days to look for a new home. Well, that is actually a little deceiving. It takes approximately 30-45 to close on a loan so really, first time homebuyers only have a few weeks at the very most to sign a purchase contract to take advantage of the $8000 tax credit.
