Weddington Trace, a neighborhood in unincorporated Union County NC, has an ideal location between the small towns of Weddington, Marvin and Waxhaw. Although there’s a country feel to the area, shopping and restaurants are nearby in Waxhaw and the Wesley Chapel Village Commons shopping area. Construction began in 2006 in Weddington Trace. The neighborhood’s first builder, Ryan Homes, completed a number of homes but pulled out during the recession. A second builder, Standard Pacific, began construction in the community in 2011.
