Yesterday I wrote a blog post where I identified the basics in real estate as knowledge and competence.
To be knowledgeable in real estate is the accumulation of information and staying current with trends.
Competence in real estate is understanding what you know and how to put your knowledge to work for the benefit of your clients.

How do you set yourself apart from your competition?  How do you create the success you want?
You don't have to do anything grandiose.   In real estate, you need to be the most knowledgeable and competent in your niche(s).  In sports, it is not the golfer that does anything unique that wins huge paydays over the rest of the field. They only need to be a single stroke better over 72 holes. Statistically, it can come down to 3/1000 of a percentage point better.
