"A true champion will fight through anything." -Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Yesterday, I was able to secure my third consecutive Three Lakes Golf Course 18-Hole Ladies Club League Championship. This has been a goal of mine all year. This is my Fifth overall. Honestly, I wasn'tsure I could do it. I know I am the best golfer in the league but I wasn't sure my body would hold up for the 36-hole play-off. This is like two full rounds. I sometimes have difficulty completing 18 holes. This is where I am the only woman member of the Board of Directors and reign as the 18-hole Ladies League Club Champion. The 2018 Club Championship is currently underway. Will I be able to 3-peat? Last week while golfing at Three Lake Public Golf Course, my friends and I enjoyed watching this turtle cross the 13th fairway. We're assuming he was moving from one lake to another across the course. He was very determined not to let us impede his progress. Every time I would get in front of him to take a picture, he would turn and go another direction. As I would move again, he would change directions again.
