Spring is in the air! As you probably already know Southwest Airlines are here at the Branson Airport. If you haven't taken a look at the flights that are available right now, it's pretty exciting to see just how affordable it is to fly from every major city round trip from $250 (Dallas & Chicago) to $550 (San Diego) Take a look- Fly Branson. It's interesting, I've heard that they have been moving dirt for months for the Nascar track without final approval from the county. They have one more Planning and Zoning meeting July 11th at 6 p.m. to try and get their commercial zoning.

This will be a year of change for Branson as we know it. So many new things will no doubt cause one of the biggest ripples since the "boom" of the early 90's. Even with the market and attitudes at an all time low, with the present crisis we face, I'm still showing homes on a weekly basis. Interest in the Branson area is still very high, even though most are holding off after the election and into next year. Last week we had a very interesting meeting with the marketing manager from the Branson Airport. He really cleared up many of the rumors flying around town. Some people think that the Branson Airport is not a reality, but it is actually 4 months ahead of schedule ...opening in May of 2009.
