branson airport: Branson Speedway Under Construction - 06/19/11 09:14 AM
It's interesting, I've heard that they have been moving dirt for months for the Nascar track without final approval from the county. They have one more Planning and Zoning meeting July 11th at 6 p.m. to try and get their commercial zoning.

Here is a good link to see what people in the area are seeing. Several in the Ridgedale area can see the construction from their back yards.  http://www.swmosportbikes.com/forum/showthread.php?t=38149
If you haven't heard anything about the track-here are some links showing the size, plans and information.

branson airport: Branson Market~ Plus List of My Favorite Homes - 09/27/08 02:40 AM
Even with the market and attitudes at an all time low, with the present crisis we face, I'm still showing homes on a weekly basis. Interest in the Branson area is still very high, even though most are holding off after the election and into next year. Some would say now is still a good time to make your purchase,,,with interest rates still very low some even at 5.6%,,,even if prices do drop more, will interest rates continue to be low? So, I have put together a list of homes I have recently shown, most have been on the market a long time  and would make … (2 comments)

branson airport: Everything you need to know about the Branson Airport - 08/12/08 08:30 AM

Last week we had a very interesting meeting with the marketing manager from the Branson Airport. He really cleared up many of the rumors flying around town. Some people think that the Branson Airport is not a reality, but it is actually 4 months ahead of schedule ...opening in May of 2009. The airport is the biggest dirt moving project the state of Missouri, were mountains have literally been moved to make a runway. Fifty investors have been involved in the privately owned airport investing ten million in building. The actual airport building is 58,000 square feet and will service flights … (2 comments)

This large tract of land has been a cattle ranch since the 60's. Very close to the new Branson Airport which the runway has now been completed. Look at recent news article.
