Carson Valley Nevada Living … A Wonderful Lifestyle. The Carson Valley evenings are cooling off. No longer does the lingering summer sun keep things too hot for outdoor dining. The crisp freshness of the evenings and mornings are producing a hint of fall, but summer is as late leaving as it was arriving.
Outside dining with our magnificent views seems to enhance the impact on the taste buds as the barbecued delights are savored. The weeds keep growing in Carson Valley, Nevada. Its been an amazing year for weeds in Northern Nevada. Last year’s wonderfully wet winter fueled an abundance of weeds that continue to grow and grow. We’ve had much more precipitation than normal all through the summer months as well creating growing opportunities for the weeds like they rarely see in this area. It is a common topic of conversation among Carson Valley Ranchers, Gardeners, and Homeowners, weather and weeds. A wonderful place to live, the Carson Valley is blessed with four good seasons. Summers are warm, not hot. Winters are cold, not bitter cold. Once in awhile there will be an exception and a summer day will get hot, but when the sun goes down it cools off immediately. The same goes for the winter weather, we can get an exceptional cold spell ... the kind that brings snow to Las Vegas ... that will let you know you're alive. Recently we got a half an inch of rain.
