Candy Dance Celebration in Genoa, Nevada Got A Rain Shower This Weekend Rainy vacations. Some of our best vacations were highlighted by rains. We’ve been in Napa, California when it rained 5 inches in day. Everything was fresh and the people were few. We had the place to ourselves with a few other adventuresome types. Another vacation found us in Washington, D.C. To avoid a downpour we ducked in to a nearby building. Turned out to be the National Gallery of Art. What a delightful afternoon … artfully dry.
