Is it Mars or the Moon? It was 11pm, CT when I took this picture with my iphone in Austin Lakeway, Texas last night (just in case you were wondering what I used to capture the image). I knew that there would be a Lunar Eclipse however I didn't expect the moon to look like Mars once the Earth had completely blocked the light from the sun. The Moon appeared to darken from left to right and the last quarter of it took a very short time.
