Which Is Best For Your Lifestyle?
Some people love living in condos, while others swear by detached homes. When it comes to deciding between the two, however, you can't always rely on someone else's word.
Sometimes it's as simple as understanding and assessing your lifestyle to make the best choice, since condo living and home ownership are two radically different experiences, and thereby serve two very different types of lifestyles and personalities.

Perhaps that's why the Internal Revenue Service attempted to simplify … (2 comments)

Just How Sustainable Is The Micro Housing Trend?
Something that the Europeans have been doing for decades has finally made its way over the Atlantic Ocean to North America: the trend is called micro housing, and it's turned into an entirely new way of living.
With micro housing, we're beginning to do away with oversize condos and even detached homes, learning to live in a more minimalistic manner and curbing our hoarding habits for good.
The affordability of micro housing is making it possible even for young adults and students to purchase their homes in the city centers across North America. … (0 comments)

Home Prices Down For Third Consecutive Month
Harsh winter weather conditions contributed to home prices falling in January. cathy carter: Another New Record Low was Set Today!! - 01/20/14 08:28 AM

Meanwhile the Cromford® Supply Index has stopped falling and is showing distinct signs of rising. This week we have seen a stronger flow of new listings than last year and the implication is that the overall market will improve for buyers and deteriorate for sellers in the near term. If these … (0 comments)

Market Summary for the Beginning of 2014

The market remains in the doldrums with weak demand and low supply. In the last couple of weeks both have been falling but that is only temporary. Both are likely to grow during the rest of January and it will be important to watch which of them shows the greater acceleration.
December was uneventful. Sales were much weaker than a year ago, but at least they exceeded November's tiny number. However this was largely thanks to December having 21 working days, 17% more than the 18 working days in November. In fact sales … (0 comments)
