I have not been doing the greatest job with my plants. I went on several vacations this summer and we moved and the plants suffered from all of it. My son did a great job while I was away mostly, but when I came back from my trips I had so much work to catch up on that I neglected the plants a lot. I usually managed to water them most days, but didn't keep up well with fertilizing and removing leaves with leaf miner.

I am writing a series of blogs about my experiences in growing an organic container vegetable garden. I had been trying to get my plants healthy after being being sick and having to let them go a little bit. The tomato seedlings were a wierd kind of yellow light green color and I was tying to get those green.  I heard that epsom salt worked to help green up plants, so i tried it and it worked.
