rentals brevard county florida: Above and Beyond Is part of the Job Description
- 10/19/14 11:38 PM
I think that I tend to go above and beyond quite often for my clients; one particular example of this would be the time that my husband and I went over to a new property management account, that I had listed for rent at 11:30 pm, because someone had broken in. The property owner who lives in Connecticut, had received a call from a neighbor that someone had broken into the property and had left an upstairs window open.
This particular owner was especially anxious as they had just had a really bad experience with the first (11 comments)
I have been in this business now for twelve years. When I first started out I got a lot of experience with buyers, but not very much with sellers. Over the years I have listed two of my own homes for sale and hundreds of rental properties. The ones I listed for myself sold really fast and for decent prices. I knew enough to know how the home should look to make it appeal to buyers and where to price it at. I have recently decided that I wanted to get back into residential sales (2 comments)
rentals brevard county florida: Should You Charge A Late Fee?
- 03/11/14 10:34 AM
The lease that I use gives my tenants a three day grace period, before being charged a late fee. I tell my tenants that if they communicate with me and do what they say they will do, I may even be able to be a bit more flexible. Sometimes checks can get lost, or emergencies come up, so I have at times waived the late fee. As long as it does not become a habit and does not cause the owner's distribution to be delayed. In this way I differ from a lot of managers and might be considered too (9 comments)
