knoxville: From Old To New… Modern Lofts in Historic Buildings - 01/16/14 12:02 AM

Do you love historic buildings but prefer to live in a setting with modern amenities? Knoxville boasts some beautiful modern lofts nestled in the city's buildings of old. 1060 World's Fair Park #403 in downtown Knoxville is one of my favorite examples.
The five-story brick structure was built circa 1916, as the new factory and headquarters for South, Littlefield & Steere Company. It was the fourth building for the very successful candy company previously located downtown. In 1901, it was manufacturing a full line of handmade bon bons, chocolates, marshmallows, mixtures, and much more in the line of confectioneries. By … (0 comments)

knoxville: Preparing Your Home To Sell - 01/14/14 12:53 AM

A house that "sparkles" on the surface will sell faster than its shabby neighbor, even though both are structurally well maintained.
From experience, REALTORS® also know that a "well-polished" house appeals to more buyers and will sell faster and for a higher price. Additionally, buyers feel more comfortable purchasing a well cared for home because if what they can see is maintained, what they can't see has probably also been maintained. In readying your house for sale, consider:

HUNTER ESTATES NEIGHBORHOOD

This neighborhood is approximately 6 years old.  As I understand it, Shubert Builders started with the development of this neighborhood and soon after, Saddlebrook Properties took over and finished out the development.
