There is roughly only about 40 more hours (a few more if you live on the right hand side) for you to submit your post to the contest: On My Planet.........(a new ActiveRain Contest!!)   I don’t have an “exact” count on the numbers yet (at least 100), but I have a feeling that Kristin, Tammy, Jim and I are going to be busy judging the entries. We are all painfully aware of the many problems on our planet.  Most of us have opinions of how these problems can be “fixed,” while others hold that the problems stand no chance of being fixed, still others seem content to bury their heads in the sand.
Logic and irrepressible optimism puts me in the first camp, but I am fully aware that much of the fixing will not happen in my life time.  When I see all the smarter, younger, minds coming along to work on these issues it is hard to not be optimistic.  Take a look at this … (180 comments)
