For the past couple of months, there have been emails circulating in Louisiana about a real estate transfer tax being on the ballot this November. This is old news, folks. This item was up for vote last year (2011) and the people voted to NOT have any new real estate transfer tax in Louisiana. Feel free to visit www.staytaxfree.com for more information.
