In my ignorance or defense I just recently found out that you could even edit a re-post and it was suggested that I disable comments so as to give the person that worked so hard putting the original together credit. Of course when I see a good post I re-blog and frankly although I do not get a lot of Comments on A/R I get a lot of response when posted on my website, twitter and Facebook. But how about them, does it give them more weight or Google Juice, I don't know. Do you like it when people repost your post and what would … (3 comments)

It was Party Time....
Well Friday was our annual Halloween Party, every year we open the doors to the office from 12 noon to 9 pm. From 12 to 4 all the Realtors, title folks and mortgage people come by to meet and greet. This year because of the cold weather coming in we served hot chili, hotdogs, and cold drinks. We had at last count 33 people including two local politicians out do some late vote getting. Here is a math trick so unbelievable that it will stump you. Personally I would like to know who came up with this and why that person is not running the country.1. Grab a calculator. (you won't be able to do this one in your head) 2. Key in the first three digits of your phone number (NOT the area code) 3. Multiply by 80 4. Add 1 5. Multiply by 250 6. Conduct a Seminar - Invite a speaker or celebrity to do a seminar. Examples of seminars:
a tax seminar, a living trust workshop or have local political leaders discuss pertinent issues like zoning changes or tax reform. Besides getting in front of people, this can boost your brand because you're providing valuable information.
We once had a 1031 Tax exchange along with How to buy Real Estate through your 401 K. It went over really well and we had over 60 people show up.

With the mortgage crisis the way it is, the tightening of money from lenders or lack of money to loan. I get a lot of calls from buyers wanting to know if rent to own is an option. The short answer is maybe... Some ways to tell. If you apply for a loan and the interest rates puts the payments above what a similar home is on a rent to own home, then a rent to own home is for you.
