Baltimore City Requires Carbon Monoxide Detectors Effective March 1, 2010 Baltimore City will require all homes to be equipped with carbon monoxide detectors. The law was passed 18 months ago but was not widely publicized until now. The law will require that there is a CO detector on all levels where there is a bedroom.
