family celebrations: Happy Canada Day

Happy Canada Day For those of you who don't know, I'm Canadian. I transplanted to the United States, specifically, to the Baltimore area, 21 years ago and have been here ever since. We celebrate all the Canadian holidays as well as the American, so yes we'll be grilling later this week too!! On July 1, 1867 Canada became a self governing dominion of the United Kingdom and a federation of 4 provinces New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec. The anniversary of this date is called Dominion Day. Since July 1, 1983 it has been officially known as Canada Day. So, in honor of
