Catonsville Food Truck Thursdays Starts March 14, 2024
Food Truck Thursdays are back in 21228 starting March 14, 2024!! The trucks will be set up at the Christian Temple Church at 5820 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228 and food is served from 4 pm to 8 pm.
Ice Cold Drinks will be sold at the red tents. The proceeds from the drink sales go towards the Catonsville 4th of July Parade and Fireworks.

Here we go again!!
The price of a first-class stamp just went up last July from 58 cents to 60 cents. Now, on January 22, 2023, the price of a first-class stamp is increasing again, this time from 60 cents to 63 cents and the price of international letter postage is increasing from $1.40 to $1.45.
You could stock up now since postage in both denominations are "forever" stamps and are not printed with a value and these do not expire.

I don't know about you but I can't start my day off without at least one cup of coffee.
I love Tim Horton's coffee and brought some home with me when I went to visit my family last month. I also, love the coffee at Atwater's in Catonsville on Frederick and also Caffe di Roma in Catonsville on Edmondson just east of Rolling Road. I'll get coffee in the drive-thru at Dunkin Donuts when I am in a rush, however, I am not a huge fan of Starbucks, and to me, the coffee tastes bitter. Where is your favorite … (5 comments)

As a woman, I am used to national chain mechanical service companies trying to take advantage and rake me over the coals for products and services I don't need and they think because I'm a woman I don't know what I need and don't need. NTB in Catonsville is a breath of fresh air and they treat every woman that goes in there with respect and fairness.
NTB doesn't just do tires and batteries either.

There is no other holiday that has as many fireworks as Independence Day (July 4), except maybe New Year.
Are your pets afraid of thunder? Loud noises? Perhaps Fireworks? As many know we adopted a rescue this past spring. We are still learning what her fears and terrors are. When I'm walking Sadie I notice she jumps when a loud truck goes by or when a car goes over a metal plate in the road. Free College Tuition for High School Students in Baltimore County
Baltimore County public schools have just announced that thanks to funding from the Maryland State Department of Education, the Baltimore County Public Schools/Community College of Baltimore County Tuition-Free program has been expanded.
Beginning this summer (2022), the program will cover the cost of tuition, fees, and books for all Baltimore County Public School students to take an unlimited number of CCBC courses while in high school.
Interested students (and parents) can learn more from their school guidance counselors and from the CCBC website.

Catonsville Farmer's Market is Coming Soon
I love the farmer's market, love the selection of fresh local produce and local products. Last summer I got some great local fruit wines from Great Shoals Winery and locally distilled rum from Old Line Spirits, plus local fruits and vegetables and local restaurants and food trucks. So many great choices and so much fun.
The Catonsville Farmers Market opens on May 1 and will run every Sunday until November 9 am to 1 pm. Hopefully, I will see you there!!

The town of Catonsville has a lot to offer the new homeowner. There are older homes, historic homes as well as new construction, townhomes, condos, and single-family homes, and prices range from around $200,000 up to over a million. Something for everyone!
My family and I have called Catonsville home since 2016 and we just bought a home in October in the Paradise neighborhood and we love it!! The town of Catonsville has lots of bars and restaurants and shops, most major supermarket chains are represented as well.
