I got a new camera for Christmas and it allows me to take great close up shots of some of the visitors to my yard while not getting to close and scaring them.
I live in a great neighborhood in Lutherville, Maryland north of Towson where there are lots of critters and I don't have to go too far to see them. One of the many things we love about living in Lutherville is the annual visit of Santa riding on a Fire Truck. My 14 year old son still runs out to the corner of our little street when he here's the siren coming down the street. When Liam was younger and he wasn't going to be here on the day Santa made his rounds he'd give me his letter for Santa and made me promise to give it to him when I saw him. The Wednesday market day in Timonium, MD will continue until October 27, 2011. The Farmer's Market is held inside the main gate at Maryland State Fairgrounds. I have been writing a regular blog blog weekly about what to do with your purchases. I had several requests for this to continue. The market is open from 3pm to 6pm on Wednesdays. The Chesapeake Classic Car Club will host its annual show at the Fire Museum of Maryland on Saturday, July 11, 2009. The show will be held from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm on the museum grounds.
More than 60 antique and classic cars will be freatured, in addition to 40 horse-drawn, hand-drawn and motorized fire engines on exhibit at the museum.
