Baltimore County School Closings - The Aftermath of Hurricane Irene Day 3 As many of you know Baltimore County Schools remained closed today because of the aftermath of Hurricane Irene. Due to the continued effects of Hurricane Irene, certain schools will be closed on Wednesday, August 31. Many neighborhoods still have downed trees and downed power lines and as a result they have no phone service, no electric and no internet. My neighborhood is one of those.
