One of the things I love about the fall, besides the colorful leaves, are the abundance of fall family friendly festivals.
Bring the whole family out for the 35th annual Honey Harvest Festival at the Nature Center in Oregon Ridge off Shawan Road in Hunt Valley. Entrance is free!! There may be a fee for some activities.
Learn about honeybees from the 2018 American Honey Princess. Activities include open honeybee hive demonstrations, honey extractions, mead making, honey ice cream making, apple cider pressing, wool spinning, live music, civil war reenactments, blacksmithing, food trucks, … (2 comments)

32nd Annual Honey Harvest Festival - Oregon Ridge Nature Center
October 5 - October 6, 2013 - 11am-4pm
Bee lovers and beekeepers are headed to the Oregon Ridge Nature Center for the 32nd Annual Honey Harvest Festival on October 5 and 6, 2013. There is no entry fee to go to this great event and food and drink will be sold.
The Oregon Ridge Natural Center and the Central Maryland Beekeepers Association will start the festivities on Saturday, October 5 from 11 am to 4pm both Saturday and Sunday October 6. There will be hive demonstrations, candle dipping and mead … (0 comments)
