Do you remember the story of Johnny Appleseed from your childhood?
Johnny Appleseed, who's real name was John Chapman, traveled around the country planting apple seeds. John Chapman was a pioneer of sorts, a nurseryman who introduced apple trees to large parts of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Ontario, Indiana, Illinois as well as West Virginia.

Great Family Fun
Sunday, my best friend and I went to Weber's Cider Mill Farm for the Peach Festival. What a great day.
Weber's is located at 2526 Proctor Lane right off Waltham Woods in the heart of Parkville really close to I695 and Perring Parkway. You can't get a better more accessible location and they have plenty of parking. You can pick your own or buy from their store, bring the kids and make a day of it.
During the fall they like to celebrate the season with some great family fun activities.
