This post is the third in a series of blogs about mistakes people make while renovating homes. This is pretty extensive and was inspired by an HGTV program aired a few days before Christmas. Effective January 2009, Baltimore City residents will be able to recycle MORE items. So fill up a recycle bin or two or MORE! Remember, if we all do our part, one person at a time and one home at a time; together as a City we can make a difference. I was inspired to write this blog by an other ActiveRainer. In Baltimore we are blessed with several locations where you can buy recycled building materials, remixed paint, recycled cabinets, recycled counter tops, recycled hardware, recycled floors and the list goes on. And, yes, you can build an entire house from found materials. The Loading Dock is located 2 N. Kresson Street, Baltimore 21224. Their warehouse is filled to the brim with all kinds of materials.
