Everywhere I look I see news that the real estate market is falling, much like the Chicken Little childhood story.  In Maryland, the market has remained strong and prices continue to rise due to the consistent demand from buyers.

When you decide to sell your Maryland home you may want to ask the agent you are interviewing some questions about their experience.  
In Maryland each county has its own set of forms, some use the Maryland Association of Realtors (MAR) forms, Montgomery County has its own forms through the Greater Capital Association of Realtors.  
Does your Realtor have access to the appropriate forms needed to list your home?

Coming Soon Status
My listings always come on the market in Coming Soon status on Friday, then generally Active the following Thursday.  Again this morning I got a call from an agent asking if she can show my new listing (in Coming Soon Status) today.  
What does Coming Soon mean?  It means that the seller has signed a listing agreement with my brokerage and has agreed for the marketing to begin.  No showings will occur until after it is in Active Status.
