September marks the annual Realtor Safety Month.
My first year in real estate was 1985. In 1985 we didn’t have a buyer’s agency, we just assumed the buyers that came to us to look at houses could afford them and we had the keys to the homes we had for sale in the office and we didn’t think twice about having our clients in the car with us.
In the neighborhood I grew up in we didn’t even lock our doors when we weren’t home, let alone when we were home.

It's that time of the year and the Maryland State Fair is open!! I love the fair! I love seeing what everyone has made since last year, what everyone grew in their garden, the animals and the fair food!!

One, thing I know is that everything goes better with an ice cream sundae, even changes to the way we do business as Realtors!!
We had our bi-weekly office meeting today and reviewed how we will be doing business moving forward, how our forms and addenda are changing, and how to have those difficult conversations with our clients.

With recent storms in the area, fallen branches, and trees, this is very valuable information to keep us all safe during bad weather.
Here in Catonsville, we've had a lot of power outages and a lot of fallen trees. Download your power company's app and report outages and down power lines.

Late in February of last year, the Catonsville branch of the Baltimore County Public Library closed for renovations.
Improvements were to include:
Recording studio featuring recording and mixing booths Remodeled public meeting rooms Dedicated teen area Library Technology LED lighting throughout the building Furnishings, including reading areas, laptop bars, comfortable seating, work tables, conference and training tables and shelving Updated customer service desk The wait is over!
