If you have a special needs family member than you realize first hand how important it is to have accessible activities here in our own community of Chatham-Kent. Two organizations were honored recently for their contribution to Chatham-Kent accessible activites. The Chatham-Kent Accessibility Advisory Committee which presented the awards operates under the umbrella of the Municipal Government.
The Sheila Lindsey-Powers Accessibilty Advocate Award went to Terri Jenkins of TJ Stables for her unfailing dedication to the Acceptional Riders Program. There is a Heated Indoor Riding Arena which is wheelchair accessible and even (0 comments)
